Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Required for asap after October 2025, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic classroom teacher who is committed to team working and looking forward to an active role in our inclusive school.
Archdale is a good school and this post presents opportunities to become involved in excellent support and CPD. Previous experience in a special school is not essential but candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to child centred approaches.
The role is temporary until 31st August 2025 and is required asap after October 2025
The successful applicant will be flexible and adaptable.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate that they will:
• Bring fun and enthusiasm for learning into a creative classroom
• Challenge and motivate children to enable good progress
• Be an excellent team worker able to best utilise support staff to provide outstanding provision to raise the attainment and achievement of our pupils
• Have good Behaviour Management Skills
• Have a good understanding and specialism in autism
• Have high expectations of self, staff and children.
• Work as part of our team
