Social Work Practice Consultant – Court Team
- Acts as an Advanced Practitioner within the Court Team, managing complex cases involving public and private law proceedings.
- Undertaking assessments, preparing written evidence, and represent Nottinghamshire County Council in court.
- Provide safeguarding and permanence planning for children, including pre-birth assessments and Section 7/37 reports.
- Offer consultation and co-working support to operational teams to build court-related skills and prevent delays.
- Ensuring compliance with legal frameworks, departmental procedures, and professional codes of conduct.
- Maintaining accurate records and collaborates with statutory and independent agencies.
- Demonstrating advanced knowledge of child care legislation, trauma-informed practice, and assessment frameworks.
