Summary

Peripatetic Site Assistant

36 hours 40 mins per week, 52 weeks

On a split shift between the hours of 06:40am-18:00pm

Monday-Friday

Grade 3, (SCP 6-11) - £25,989 to £28,142


The Board of Trustees wish to providean opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Peripatetic Site Assistant; we are looking for a highly motivated candidate to become part of our school team. The post holder will be required to travel to all schools within the Northwest Hub with 1 site as a base location at the Oldham academies.

The successful candidates will have:

  • Willingness to undertake NVQ 2 in related subject e.g. Cleaning & Support Services or 2 years’ experience in an equivalent role

  • Experience of cleaning and caretaking

  • Handy person/DIY experience to undertake general building maintenance and minor repairs

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • An understanding of health & safety procedures and regulations e.g. COSHH, including safe moving, lifting & handling

  • To be able to be the main key holder on occasions and attend to “call outs” outside normal working hours.

  • Basic IT skills to enter data onto computers
