Based at 28A Millgate Loan, Arbroath, covering the Angus area.

This job is Workstyle 3 - Flexi

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations including working from council buildings and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic social worker to join the Horizon team, supporting unaccompanied asylum seeking children and care leavers in Angus. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people who have experienced displacement, trauma and loss.

You will play a vital role in providing child centered, trauma informed social work practice that works in partnership with relevant agencies to support unaccompanied asylum seeking children to feel safe, access housing, education, health services and integrate into the community.
