Summary
Gilberdyke Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to the position of school business assistant based in the busy office and school environment of our kind, warm and aspirational community.
Gilberdyke Primary is an inclusive, vibrant, and exciting school situated within a small, rural community. We are highly aspirational in ensuring that every pupil achieves exceptionally well both academically and socially, reaching their full potential. Our school provides education for children from the ages of 3 to 11 years.
The main purpose of this role is to undertake routine administrative, financial and organisational processes within the school. These services include the handling of highly sensitive, confidential and conflicting issues on a daily basis, dealing with staff, parents, the LA and other external bodies.
The position is to commence as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will be someone who:
• Pays attention to detail and has strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Is a team player, flexible, reliable and well organised
• Ideally is experienced in the use of Microsoft products e.g. Word and Excel
• Has the ability to prioritise tasks effectively working in a busy office environment
