Summary
The Best Connection Mansfield are currently seeking Steel Fabricators to work at our client based in Tuxford who fabricates, supplies, and installs structural steel work for the construction industry.
*** Please note - for this role, you must either drive, or live local to the site, due to no public transport available***
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical plans.
- Measure, cut, shape, and weld steel materials to required specifications.
- Operate fabrication machinery such as saws, presses, grinders, and welding equipment.
- Assemble steel structures and components using appropriate techniques.
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with engineers, welders, and other team members to ensure project success.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Working hours and pay rate:
- The role is Monday to Friday between the hours of 6am to 5pm
- The pay rate is £16 per hour.
Successful candidates will ideally need to have previous experience as a steel fabricator!
