Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Building Maintenance Technician for a supplier of wet paint, powder coatings and metal pretreatment products to a variety of Market areas. An exciting opportunity at a rapidly growing company in Redditch. Possible permanent position after a successful trial period.
Duties would include;
- Inspect, maintain and repair building's production equipment systems
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems, pumps, mixers and filling lines.
- Complete building and site maintenance checks, including fire safety systems, emergency lighting and compressors.
- Liaise with external contractors and suppliers.
- Use CMM software to log maintenance work and plan tasks.
- Create maintenance plan for the organisation's equipment.
Core Competencies:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician
- Knowledge of general maintenance
- Working knowledge of tools
- Problem solving skills
- Manual Dexterity and physical strength to handle tools, carry out repairs and installations.
Shifts and Pay Rates
- Monday to Thursday - 0800-1630
- Friday - 0800-1300
- £16.63 per hour
