Your new role
As an Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) Engineer, you'll be responsible for the hands-on build, integration, and testing of precision aerospace hardware. Working with flight-standard components and complex test rigs, you'll play a key role in ensuring systems meet rigorous performance and quality standards.Key responsibilities include:
- Mechanical assembly and integration of spacecraft and satellite components
- Execution of environmental and functional testing procedures
- Interpretation of engineering drawings and controlled documentation
- Collaboration with design, quality, and project teams to resolve technical issues
- Maintenance of test rigs and tooling to ensure operational readiness
What you'll need to succeed
You'll bring a strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering, with proven experience in precision assembly and testing. Familiarity with GD&T, cleanroom protocols, and aerospace-grade documentation is essential.Candidate profile:
- HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
- Experience in AIT or similar high-integrity environments
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Comfortable working to tight tolerances and quality standards
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
