Summary
To deliver specialised clinical practice within the field of pre-hospital emergency care, acting as a role model within the Critical Care Team Practice as a Trainee Critical Care Paramedic in partnership with a HEMS doctor or as part of a paramedic team to deliver enhanced care to high acuity patients in the pre-hospital setting. Use collaborative and independent judgment to assess, investigate, diagnose, plan, implement, manage and evaluate clinical care and management of patients attended to by the Critical Care Team. Work within the multidisciplinary team to deliver clinical practice, leadership, support, and structured teaching for multidisciplinary professionals to facilitate ongoing education, training and development. Support specific service development, including the implementation of multidisciplinary guidelines and protocols, incorporating current best evidence in consultation with medical and paramedic staff for the care of pre-hospital emergency care patients. Demonstrate responsibility for continuing professional development through work-based and service-provided training. Undertake active and positive engagement with all stakeholders involved with the HIOWAA charity. To work collaboratively with colleagues from local and neighbouring ambulance services to foster partnership working and the delivery of high-quality services
