Summary
Please see the full job description for further information JOB PURPOSE: To help promote and maintain a caring family centred environment, meeting the needs of the children, families and carers within the Paediatric Clinics/ Child Development Centre, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve this. To act as a formal chaperone within the Paediatric Clinics when required. To assist with clinic appointments by taking weight/height measurements and recording these accurately. Assist with ensuring the clinic rooms have appropriate toys and equipment for appointments. Assist with cleaning and tidying of the clinic rooms at the end of sessions. Participate in play activities for children in clinic or as part of the Multidisciplinary Developmental Assessment (MDA). Help prepare the nursery for MDA sessions, help with preparing snack time and providing supervision. Assist with keeping the nursery and toy cupboard clean and tidy.
