Summary
The Reception Manager is responsible for: a. Overseeing the reception team, ensuring staff achieve their primary responsibilities and provide an efficient service b. Managing all reception staff, supporting development, providing guidance and direction, ensuring staff are up to date with mandatory training c. Completing staff appraisals as required d. Identifying and delivering team training where required e. Compiling reception staff rotas f. Work with the Compliance Manager to support the induction of new reception staff members g. Work with the Compliance Manager to review and update all reception policies and procedures as required h. Supporting the management team in the compilation of practice reports and the practice development plan i. Developing, implementing and embedding efficient office processes and procedures to adhere to current legislation j. Coordinating the home visits rota in conjunction with the visiting clinician k. Coordinating in Enhanced Access reception rota l. Providing initial guidance and advice to patients who wish to verbally complain m. Managing relevant deliveries to the practice, ensuring adherence to the cold chain policy as necessary n. Acting as one of the building fire marshals, ensuring evacuation lists are current and that the visitors log is used appropriately o. Maintain and update the GSF database, including chairing regular GSF meetings p. Oversee adult safeguarding administration q.a. Be the carers lead for the practice r. Ensure the smooth coordination of restocking the clinical rooms
