Morning Pick up: 8:45am - 9:45am Morning - Friday (5 hours) Evening Pick up and support: 4:30 pm - 6pm Monday - Friday (7.5) totalling 12.5 hours per week, May be availability to do more hours.

We are seeking a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personal assistant to support a bright and fun-loving 18-year-old young man with additional needs. This rewarding role involves providing transport to and from his social care provisions during the week, as well as offering support at home in the evenings.

Our son is initially shy, but once he gets to know you, his warm personality shines through. He has a great sense of humour, loves music and dancing, enjoys trips to the pub, and is a proud Brighton & Hove Albion supporter. He experiences some communication difficulties and uses various aids to help express himself, so a compassionate and understanding approach is essential.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is reliable, caring, and able to build a trusting relationship over time. You will need access to your own vehicle to safely transport him and be comfortable supporting with aspects of personal care and meal preparation.

Candidate qualities:

Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
