Job description:
Will suit a 16 or 17 year old
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Stable Hand to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of ponies and their environment.
This role requires a strong commitment to animal welfare, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a dynamic outdoor setting.
Responsibilities
Provide daily care for horses, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.
Maintain cleanliness of stables and surrounding areas by mucking out stalls and disposing of waste properly.
Assist with the management of providing water to pastures and paddocks.
Assist with the management of the pastures and paddocks.
Conduct regular inspections of the stable facilities and report any issues or repairs needed.
Lift heavy loads as required, such as bales of hay or feed bags, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Experience
Previous experience in animal care or working with horses is desirable.
Candidates must be physically fit to handle heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
