Summary

About the Role

As the Business Development Assistant, you’ll be a key part of the Unitemps team, playing a crucial role in expanding our network and internal growth. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support, ensure smooth operations and help us forge strong, lasting relationships with students, graduates, employers, and academic departments. Your work will directly contribute to Unitemps' growth and success.

Main Responsibilities

Act as the first and main point of contact, providing a professional support service for the Unitemps Business Development Team by handling all incoming calls, enquiries, and correspondence.
Coordinate the promotion of the Unitemps service’s engagement with students and employers through social media and stakeholder events.
Provide administrative support for business development, invoicing, client relationship management, and recruitment, ensuring employer enquiries and leads are monitored effectively.
Support the organisation of meetings and events aimed at increasing employer collaboration with the University.
Manage the employer enquiry line and inboxes to maintain positive, long-term relationships with external stakeholders.
Assist with creating reports and project updates, ensuring all data for audits is accurate and submitted by the deadline.

Skills and Knowledge

A qualification at Level 4 or an equivalent level of experience is essential for this role. This background will ensure you have a strong understanding of the administrative and professional standards required.
You will need to demonstrate your ability to provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and maintaining positive relationships with a diverse range of people, from students to senior leaders.
You should be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other digital software. This is vital for creating reports, managing data, and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
You must be proactive and resourceful, managing competing priorities and solving problems on your own.
