Are you passionate about unlocking development opportunities and building strategic partnerships?
We’re looking for a dynamic Land & Partnerships Manager to join our South West team and lead the charge in identifying and acquiring development sites that align with our ambitious growth plans.
This is a pivotal role, working closely with our Sales, Commercial, Operational, and Estimating teams to ensure that all land purchases deliver maximum value and align with our business objectives.
What You’llBe Doing
Identifying, evaluating, and securing development sites for residential and mixed-tenure housing projects.
Building and strengthening strategic relationships with Local Authorities, Registered Providers (RSLs), landowners, agents, and consultants.
Sourcing and supporting bids for land-led, Section 106, mixed tenure, and contracting opportunities.
Leading and supporting the preparation of PQQs, tenders, viability assessments, and land offers.
Maintaining a strong understanding of planning policy, legal frameworks, and technical considerations around land acquisition.
Auditing key clients to better understand their needs, inform partnership strategies, and unlock new opportunities.
Ensuring compliance with internal commercial processes, including the Commercial Standing Instructions (CSI), Health & Safety, Environmental policies, and LIMS procedures.
About you
We are looking for a senior professional with demonstrable experience of working in land acquisition & affordable housing with a track record of developing relationships with RSLs and Local Authority clients in the South West region.
You’ll have good knowledge and understanding of KPIs, Customer Charter, Benchmarking and continuous improvement practices, along with contracts,procurement and Construction Methods / Technology.
With excellent communication and negotiation skills,you’ll have the ability to create and develop strong relationships with key clients and supply chain partners.
