Summary

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for an immediate opportunity within a friendly and professional accountancy practice? We are recruiting for a temporary Bookkeeper to join the team and provide essential support until November.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns

  
  

• Managing purchase and sales ledgers

  
  

• Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records

  
  

• Supporting client bookkeeping requirements across a varied portfolio

  
  

• Using accounting software to ensure compliance with HMRC standards

  
  What we’re looking for:

  • Previous practice experience is essential

    
    

  • Strong knowledge of VAT processes and reporting

    
    

  • Good working knowledge of accounting software (Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks desirable)

    
    

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

    
    

  • Ability to manage deadlines in a busy practice environment
