Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Recycling Operative to join our client in Rochdale. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about recycling and sustainability in a manufacturing setting. As a Recycling Operative, you will play a vital role in sorting and processing recyclable materials, operating key machinery, and ensuring smooth recycling operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting up tubes and other recyclable materials
- Operating the baling machine to compact materials.
- Ensuring all waste is processed efficiently and safely.
- Maintaining a clean and organised recycling area.
- Operating stacker trucks and counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently.
Key Requirements:
- Valid stacker truck and counterbalance forklift licenses.
- Experience with operating a baling machine (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards health and safety.
