You'll be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and continuous improvement within the API & Digital Services Platform. The API & Digital Services Platform's vision is to enable smarter API & SOE lead innovation whilst ensuring resilient digital services today.
Your role will involve supporting the pipelines and systems for the Flash application, implementing new features, and ensuring the highest level of performance and user experience as well as embarking on our journey with the IDP. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor peers and junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure. You'll work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products. Your expertise in Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, Harness, Sonar, GitHub, and public cloud platforms, and will be essential in driving our DevOps initiatives forward.
What you'll do

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, and Harness.

Automate and streamline deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing and code quality checks using Sonar and other tools.

Manage and maintain version control systems, primarily GitHub, ensuring best practices for branching, merging, and code reviews.

Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

What you'll need
-
3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.

Strong expertise in Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, Harness, Sonar, and GitHub.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Experience with public cloud platforms, ideally Azure.

Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
It would be great if you also had

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.

Certification in relevant technologies or cloud platforms.
