Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated KS2 HLTA to join a dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident leading whole-class learning, supporting small groups, and working closely with teachers to help pupils reach their full potential. Beginning November 2025.
Duties as a KS2 HLTA:
Lead whole-class lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
Work with small groups and individuals to support learning and progress.
Assist teachers with planning, preparing, and delivering engaging activities.
Provide tailored support for pupils with SEN or additional needs.
Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Support with assessment, record-keeping, and reporting on pupil progress.
Ideal KS2 HLTA:
HLTA status (or equivalent qualification/experience).
Proven experience supporting learning in KS2.
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a KS2 HLTA.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning.
