Summary

Finance Apprentice, Accounts - AAT Level 3

Milton Hospice – CB24 6AB

£23,809.50 per annum (National Living Wage)

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week - including 20% to fulfil Study Element

Fixed Term Contract - 24 months

Are you ready to launch your career in finance?

We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Finance Apprentice to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised finance qualification. You’ll be supported every step of the way as you develop core skills in accounting and financial analysis.

Reporting in to the Head of Finance within the Accounts Team based at our Milton, Central Services Office, you will:

· Assist with day-to-day financial operations, including income processing, bank reconciliations, purchase ledger and reporting

· Learn to use financial software and tools

· Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy

· Learn to understand compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements

Level 3 AAT Course:

· 20% of hours allocated to college and online based learning through First Intuition Cambridge to fulfil the Level 3, AAT course requirements.

Do you have:

· A genuine interest in finance and business?

· Strong numeracy and analytical skills?

· Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability?

· Good communication skills and a team-player mindset?

· At least 5 GCSEs grade 4-9 (previous scoring system A* - C) including Maths and English?

· Commitment to completing an apprenticeship programme?
