Summary
Perform a range of organisational, supervisory and supply functions in order to provide efficient and quality services to patients, wards and clinics within the Trust. Duties will be predominantly concerned with the organisation and direct supervision of staff and activities; including assembly, supply and checking of pharmaceuticals ensuring tight deadlines are met. Stock control management and clerical duties are also assigned to this post. Ensures adherence and trains staff including H&S and COSHH issues. There are no direct line management responsibilities for this post. The post holder will supervise and train staff within the department. The post is based in the Pharmacy dept which could be SJ/LGI/CAH or Moor House however the post holder will be required to work cross site. The post holder will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays. The post holder will support the day to day running of the department, prioritising work load and giving direction and supervision as required. They will be required to work accurately whilst under pressure.
