Summary

Manage incoming clinical correspondence (e.g. hospital letters, discharge summaries, diagnostic reports) via Docman or other systems. Allocate and process documents promptly, ensuring appropriate coding and forwarding to relevant clinicians. Monitor and track the status of documents, ensuring nothing is missed or delayed. Code relevant clinical information accurately using appropriate coding standards (SNOMED). Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records in line with national and local guidance. Assist clinicians by identifying and coding QOF indicators, long-term conditions, and other key data. Participate in regular audits and data quality improvement initiatives. Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times. Assist with administrative tasks as required by the practice.
