The post holder will be responsible for clinical/technical delivery of complex dental/prosthodontic appliances and working closely with the clinical teams in Head& Neck, Restorative Dentistry & Oral Surgery to provide oncology rehabilitation devices.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
Provide a comprehensive scientific, technological, and advisory service—primarily Maxillofacial and Dental Prosthetics, directly to patients or on behalf of Specialist Consultants in Dental and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. Consider aesthetics, function, material science, and patient-specific physiological, psychological, and medical needs.

Communicate sensitively and compassionately with patients and carers, especially those with severe congenital or post-oncological facial disfigurements, in line with Trust values.

Lead the Prosthodontic Technical service within the Maxillofacial Laboratory, supporting departmental service development and staff training, including STP trainees.
