Summary
Rikama Education is working with a specialist school based in Ramsgate, who are looking for a Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible.
The school caters to students who have Autism and communication difficulties across primary and secondary children.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities include:
- To provide a safe, supportive and nuturing classroom environment.
- To liaise with the lead teacher in preparing the classroom.
- Support children with special educational needs and diverse learning styles.
- Track and monitor student progression.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Working 1:1 , 2:1 and in small groups.
It is essential that you are self-motivated, proactive and have a passion for supporting those with additional needs.
The role is demanding and challenging but very rewarding.
