Summary

What we are looking for in you:

YMCA Dulverton Group is in search of 3 passionate and resilient individuals to join the Highbridge Temporary Accommodation team as Accommodation & Support Enablers. This pivotal role centres on engaging with customers employing an asset-based approach to actively foster positive development.

Due to changes in our delivery model we are looking for 3 new team players with a flexible mindset, ready to adapt to new challenges. If you understand the complexities faced by individuals who have experienced homelessness, this role invites you to encourage and enable everyone we support to become empowered by providing opportunities for progressive change.

As an Accommodation & Support Enabler, you'll excel in maintaining precise records of support for a dedicated case load, offering guidance on all facets of independent living. Additionally, you'll oversee individual rent accounts, supporting residents in budgeting to ensure the sustainability of successful tenancies. If you're ready to make a real impact and facilitate transformative change, we look forward to receiving your application.

Whilst there are systems in place to support you, a substantial part of the role includes the ability to lone work. Therefore, we require someone competent and confident when working alone and somebody who is able to understand and work with complex and challenging behaviours, appropriately. This role includes working shifts following a set pattern of 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm and 12-8pm shifts, weekends are also included on a 1 in 5 rotational basis 10am-6pm.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all our customers. We follow a safer recruitment process, all appointments are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and are required to provide two suitable references. Please note that we will be interviewing on a rolling basis.
