Warehouse Operative
Plymouth | £12.21 per hour | Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm | 37.5 hours per week | TemporaryAcorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a modern and busy manufacturing company in Plymouth, who is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary basis.
This is a physically demanding role, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
Key Duties:- Unloading delivery vehicles and checking incoming stock against shipping documents.
- Identifying discrepancies or damages and signing for deliveries accordingly.
- Accurately picking and packing orders according to special instructions.
- Preparing shipments for dispatch and loading/unloading outbound vehicles.
- Managing order requirements in a timely and organised manner.
- Inputting order details correctly on delivery service provider portals.
- Ensuring stock accuracy through careful handling and documentation.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar manual handling environment.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently.
- Team player with a positive and reliable attitude.
