Summary

Warehouse Operative

Plymouth | £12.21 per hour | Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm | 37.5 hours per week | Temporary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a modern and busy manufacturing company in Plymouth, who is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team on a temporary basis.

This is a physically demanding role, so candidates must be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.

Key Duties:
  • Unloading delivery vehicles and checking incoming stock against shipping documents.
  • Identifying discrepancies or damages and signing for deliveries accordingly.
  • Accurately picking and packing orders according to special instructions.
  • Preparing shipments for dispatch and loading/unloading outbound vehicles.
  • Managing order requirements in a timely and organised manner.
  • Inputting order details correctly on delivery service provider portals.
  • Ensuring stock accuracy through careful handling and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar manual handling environment.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items throughout the day.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently.
  • Team player with a positive and reliable attitude.
