About the Role

Joining us as Repairs Supervisor, you will lead and manage a team of operatives or contractors as part of a defined work stream or project within our responsive repairs service. This is a key role where you'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality, efficient repairs services are delivered to our residents - on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

You'll work closely with managers and colleagues across the organisation to ensure resources are effectively deployed, KPIs are achieved, and customer satisfaction remains a top priority.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to deliver outstanding responsive repairs services within social housing properties.

  • Manage day-to-day operations and allocate resources effectively across workstreams.

  • Monitor and drive performance to meet KPIs, service standards, and compliance requirements.

  • Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings and performance reviews with staff.

  • Coach, mentor, and support the development of team members, identifying training needs.

  • Investigate and resolve resident complaints or service issues, escalating where necessary.

  • Implement action plans to address performance gaps and areas of dissatisfaction.

  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety, regulatory and company policies.

About You

We're looking for a proactive, organised and customer-focused individual who has:

  • Proven experience supervising maintenance or repairs teams (preferably in social housing).

  • Strong people management and team leadership skills.

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • A problem-solving mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.

  • Good IT skills, including use of housing or repairs management systems.

Relevant technical qualifications or trade background and a full UK driving licence are desirable.
