Summary
Connect Appointments is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our growing client in the Alloa area. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm - paid weekly at £12.95 per hour.
OR
Night shift: Monday to Friday, 6pm to 4am - paid weekly at £14.77 per hour.
Your duties as a Forklift Driver:
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles efficiently and safely
- Transport and store materials throughout the warehouse in the correct locations
- Operate the forklift safely in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Maintain clear and hazard-free forklift operating areas
- Consolidate partial pallets to optimise storage for incoming deliveries
What we're looking for:
- Valid FLT licence - Counterbalance
- Previous forklift driving experience in a warehouse, logistics, production, or manufacturing environment ideally with glass.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining safety and accuracy
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Comfortable working as part of a team and following instructions
- Access to your own transport would be advantageous
