4-month contract position. Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm
The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food process industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installation along with planned and preventive maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fabricator TIG welder to join the company's on-site team at a major food manufacturing facility in Lockerbie.
Duties.
As a fabricator TIG welder you will be working within a well equipped workshop, fabricating from stainless steel box section and tube, then TIG welding bespoke items for the food processing industry. Typically, machine guards, handrails, railings, balustrades, brackets, supports, frames and platforms. You will be required to mark out, fabricate and tack all from engineering drawings and specifications supplied by the engineering manager. There will also be some site installation and fixing works.
About You.
Based ideally in Dumfries and Galloway you will need to live within a commutable distance of DG11 1LW.
Demonstrable experience of fabricating and TIG welding stainless steel.
CSCS Card an advantage but not essential
SPA - Food and Beverage advantageous
