A friendly and supportive primary school in Coventry is looking for a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025 through to July 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the classroom and develop key skills ahead of a future in education.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in the daily life of the classroom by:

• Assisting teachers in delivering creative, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons across the primary curriculum

  
  

• Working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups to offer targeted academic support

  
  

• Supporting behaviour management and contributing to a positive, structured learning environment

  
  

• Assisting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) – both academically and emotionally

  
  

• Helping to prepare teaching resources and support lesson planning and classroom activities

  
  

• Creating an inclusive and nurturing space where every child feels valued and supported

  
  Who We’re Looking For

  • A graduate (minimum 2:1) – particularly in Education, Psychology, or related subjects

    
    

  • Someone enthusiastic about working with children and helping them thrive

    
    

  • A reliable, proactive, and compassionate individual with a strong work ethic

    
    

  • Prior experience with young people or in a school setting is desirable but not essential

    
    

  • Full-time availability from September 2025 to July 2026
