Summary

Your Role:You'll be working on domestic and commercial solar PV installations, contributing to energy-efficient solutions across the UK. Responsibilities include:

Installing, testing, and commissioning solar PV systems

Interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings

Working confidently with DC/AC circuits, inverters, isolators, and fault diagnostics

Using remote monitoring systems, data loggers, and apps
-
Ensuring compliance with H&S protocols, RAMS, UK building regulations, and DNO requirements

Reporting faults and ensuring safe operation of equipment

Willingness to travel regionally or nationally, with flexibility for overtime/weekend work

Recognised electrical apprenticeship and/or full electrical qualifications (Essential)

18th Edition I.EE certification

ECS Gold Card (Essential)

Knowledge of MCS Accreditation, PAS 2030, and G98/G99 grid connection regulations

Experience in solar PV or renewables (training available if needed)

Relevant solar PV qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds 2399, LCL Awards Level 3, BPEC - desirable)

Full UK driving licence (under 7 points)
