Summary
The endoscopy service at UHCW NHS Trust has 2 endoscopy units covering two hospitals (Coventry and Rugby). Both units are fully JAG accredited. The Coventry site has 5 procedure rooms and Rugby has 3 procedure rooms which support the CDC program. Both sites offer diagnostic and theraputic endoscopy and support the 24 hour emergency bleed rota. Communicate effectively with other members of the endoscopy team and other clinical work areas. Acknowledge and value peoples roles within the team. Recognise own and others limitations within the team and take appropriate action. Provide required resources for anticipated workload and to cover 24 hour emergency rotas. Manage the endoscopy team to ensure effective & efficient patient flow Participate in achieving the aims of the department/Trust.
