This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated SMT Technician to play a key role in production and development.
Are you an experienced SMT Technician looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our client's team, working with cutting-edge technology in electronics manufacturing.
SMT Technician Requirements
- Proven experience operating and running SMT machinery (Pick & Place, screen printers, reflow ovens, AOI machines).
- Confident in loading, setting, and operating machines with components and PCBs.
- Through-hole machine soldering experience.
- Strong component recognition skills.
- Ability to interpret circuit and engineering diagrams.
- SMT machine programming experience (advantageous, not essential).
- Europlacer experience (beneficial but not required).
SMT Technician Responsibilities
- Load, set up, and operate SMT machines.
- Check SMT parts kitting and set up feeders.
- Hand-place and solder surface mount components.
- Inspect, rework, and repair faulty components.
- Self-certify and check your own work.
- Carry out occasional cable assembly tasks.
- Support other departments as required.
