Location: 4 King Edwards Court, King Edwards Square, Sutton Coldfield
Reports To: Sales Manager
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £26,180 per annum + Bonus Scheme Incentive (OTE up to £40,000)
Hours: You will work a number of shifts across Monday to Friday and every 1 in 4 Saturday between 8am–8pm.

The Role:

At Dignity, we’re proud to offer exceptional support and care at one of life’s most sensitive moments. As a Sales Executive, you’ll be at the heart of that care, guiding customers through funeral arrangements and funeral plan options with compassion, professionalism, and clarity.

You will work as part of a dynamic, high-performing team responsible for converting both inbound and outbound sales leads, offering direct cremation services and pre-paid funeral plans. While experience is beneficial, we’re equally interested in personality: someone who’s confident, resilient, and genuinely motivated by helping people.

This is a regulated role, operating under FCA guidelines. Full training and coaching will be provided to ensure compliance and continued personal growth within our supportive and engaging team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound enquiries from customers needing immediate support or planning ahead
  • Guide prospective clients through our services with empathy, accuracy, and professionalism
  • Convert leads into sales while delivering excellent customer outcomes
  • Maintain FCA compliance and adhere to internal quality assurance standards
  • Accurately manage CRM systems and customer data
  • Collaborate with your team to exceed conversion and sales targets
  • Identify and sensitively support vulnerable customers
  • Maintain punctuality, attendance, and professionalism as part of a regulated, customer-centric environment
  • Hit your performance targets week on week, including conversion rate, volume metrics and QA (Quality Assurance) score
  • Handle a high volume of calls, while staying on top of a large existing pipeline of prospects

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a sales or telephone-based customer service environment
  • Resilient and confident communicator who thrives in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to regulatory standards
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
  • Motivated by personal and team-based performance targets
  • Capable of navigating sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism
  • Punctual, reliable, and conscientious, especially important in our regulated environment
  • Experience in an FCA-regulated industry is a strong advantage

What We Offer:

  • Base salary of £26,180 per annum
  • Uncapped monthly commission
  • Full 2-week induction followed by mentoring, side-by-side coaching and 8–10 hours of development each month
  • Pension Scheme
  • Life Assurance x2 annual salary
  • Hybrid working flexibility after initial training
  • Genuine career development opportunities in a growing and supportive team
  • A chance to make a real difference in people’s lives
