Summary
We're Hiring: Freelance Contract Manager
Location: Wigan
Sectors: Commercial
Project Types: Educational, hospitals, retail, accommodation
Payrate: £320- £420 a day
Duration: Short term, long term, ongoing
Duties of a Freelance Site Manager include but are not limited to:
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects across the North West region.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Lead project planning, programming, and resourcing.
- Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, and cost control measures.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management.
- Promote a strong health & safety culture across all projects.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience as a contracts manager in commercial sector
- Strong knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts
- First Aid, SMSTS, CSCS card
- Strong financial and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple contracts
- UK driving license and access to own vehicle
