About us
The Rove Hotel London Paddington is a grade 2 listed 4-star accommodation hotel located in the heart of the Paddington area just a short walk from Paddington station and tube lines. We are a small 74 bedroom property filled with the quirk and charm you'd expect from a 1860's terrace house turned hotel.
We are looking for passionate, motivated and guest focused individuals to join our reception team.

What are we looking for?
Experience is not required but preferable as with our recruitment process we believe personality is key to being able to deliver a memorable experience to our guests, other qualities would be:
• Hotel reception experience (not essential)
• Can do attitude
• Team and customer service focus
• Quick to think on their feet and adapt to the work
• IT competent
• Customer service skills
We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering phone calls, managing incoming and outgoing mail, scheduling appointments, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
• Answer incoming calls, emails and take messages.
• Register and assist guests upon arrival and departure
• Take and process credit cards payments
• Take and update reservations
• Maintain a neat and orderly reception area.
• Schedule appointments and meetings.
• Maintain records of visitors, calls, and messages.
• Provide administrative support to staff members.
• Assist with filing, photocopying, and other office duties.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
• 12-hour shift, day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
• London, W2 1RT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• Hotel Reception: 1 year (preferred)
Language:
• English (required)
