Join our dedicated retail team and help support hospice care in your community. We’re looking for a Shop Manager to provide vital cover across our network of charity shops in Gwynedd, ensuring continuity and excellence in retail operations.
About the role
As a Shop Cover Manager for Gwynedd, you’ll step in to lead individual shops during periods of absence, holiday cover, or increased demand. You’ll be responsible for:
Managing shop operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day running
Leading and supporting the dedicated teams of volunteers
Delivering excellent customer service and community engagement
Maximising income to support hospice services
Maintaining high standards in merchandising, stock control, and compliance
This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to travel across multiple locations. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles
Is passionate about the hospices mission and community impact
Can quickly build rapport with teams and customers
Is confident, organised, and able to work independently
Thrives in a fast-paced, varied environment
