Typical day as a Housing Manager
-
Be visible and proactive on estates, building strong relationships with out communities.

Manage multiple patches and neighbourhoods, supported by Community Housing Assistants
-
By being visible, engaging with customers, and proactive on our estates, you’ll help strengthen communities and improve neighbourhoods

Tackle anti-social behaviour and respond to customer queries and complaints.

Oversee the voids process, working closely with local authorities.
-
Carry our estate inspections, meet contractors on site, and complete safety and compliance checks.

About You
-
Housing sector experience with knowledge of housing management, housing law and ideally universal credit

CIH Level 3 or willingness to work towards it

Organised, methodical, proactive and positive

Passionate about delivering excellent customer service

Resilient when handling challenges and complaints
-
Confident working with external partners and stakeholders
You will though, spend most of your time out in our local estates, all while still being part of a supportive team.
Job details

Hybrid role; in an average week, you’ll spend 3 days working from our community patches
-
There be some flexibility to adapt your working hours (to discuss at interview)

Mostly Monday-Friday, with occasional evening meetings, but you will be able to manage your own diary

Although you’ll spend time in our neighbourhoods, we do get together regularly for team meetings

Vehicle insured for business use required, but we pay for your mileage
-
You’ll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that
