What you'll do

The FileNet Engineering Lead is responsible for driving strategic planning, compliance, data governance, and technical leadership within the enterprise content management domain.

This role focuses on optimizing FileNet platform capabilities to support business operations, ensuring security, and mentoring engineering talent.

Able to effectively communicate ideas, issues, and implications through storytelling and simplify messages into clear, concise communications that colleagues and senior leaders can understand, gaining advocacy and cooperation to enable a successful outcome.

Great people management skills, including being comfortable managing large engineering teams (50 FTE upwards) is essential. Ideally, this should be cross-locational (UK/India) and include permanent, partners, contractors, and vendors.

Provide technical guidance and direction, as well as firsthand support, to the software engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Familiar with supporting service and implementations, including out-of-hours working.
What you'll need
-
Agile Product Delivery: experience of Product delivery in line with Platform 3.0, with Jira and Jira-align, but more than this, we want you to be a fully engaged role model for the area.

Applied experience of delivery in at least one of or specialist software such as IBM (Data-power, Message Broker, or FileNet), Microsoft (MS 365) where relevant with associated certification.

Experience with Cloud software solutions and databases.

Experience with FileNet applications and Cloud Pak for Business Automation on the OpenShift platform.
