Summary
Service Engineer £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year depending on experience
Job description:
This is for a manufacturing company with over 20 years' experience in the field of chemical dosing and process controller equipment. An opportunity has arisen to join their service and engineering team operating nationwide from their Sleaford based office. The ideal applicant will have experience in front line, customer facing, installation/servicing/engineering industry with a plumbing bias and be willing to work nationwide with overnights as required. Unfortunately candidates without experience will not be suitable in this instance.
Successful applicants will be responsible for:
Attending customer sites nationwide ranging from industrial factories to leisure centres to complete routine, planned, service work.
Attending customer sites nationwide to carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on a call out basis.
Liaising directly with customers and end users on site.
Managing stock of spare parts on company vehicle
Completing post-visit reports / surveys.
Requirements:
Full driving license valid for use in the UK
A plumbing qualification to support experience
Experience in servicing / engineering industry with an electrical element/experience being desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential as well as the ability to work well within a small team.
Benefits:
Full time salaried position with a competitive salary - dependent on experience
Contract subject to initial probation period
Monday to Friday with overnights as required – (overnight accommodation paid as well as allowance for breakfast and evening meals)
Company vehicle, tools, and mobile phone will be provided
Ongoing training and development will be given
