Summary

We're looking for a Handyperson to join our RAF Wethersfield team based in Essex.



Location: RAF Wethersfield, Essex

Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm



What will you be responsible for?As a Handyperson, you'll be working within the RAF Wethersfield team, supporting them in delivering a customer-focused, cost-effective and efficient maintenance service.

Your day to day will include:

-General maintenance of the site including painting, decorating, lock changes, repairs, and carpentry

-Carrying out routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and minor repair/improvement works

-Proactively reporting faults to equipment, buildings, and fittings

-Maintaining cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas

-Working safely and completing all job packs/reports in a timely manner



What are we looking for?This role of Handyperson is great for you if:

-You have previous experience in general maintenance and minor repair work

-You can demonstrate procedural/systematic proficiency, including use of specialised equipment

-You are comfortable working within standardised work practices and under direct supervision
