Summary
A unique opportunity has arisen to join a small company located in and around Woodbridge. You will give much needed support for people who want to stay independent in their own homes. It is a varied role, as each person’s needs are different. A rewarding position that creates great bonds between you and the clients.

This position is a zero hour contract with flexible hours (approximated at 16hrs per week). After 6 months there will be an opportunity for a permanent contract including benefits. Rate of £12.60 per hour, mileage included
Workplace pension provided
You do not need to have experience, but instead a caring nature and a desire to genuinely help people in the community. All training will be provided.
It is essential that you have a full driving license and access to a car. You will be asked to complete an enhanced DBS check if you are successful.
This is a companionship-based role, duties may include:
• Housework including cleaning, laundry and bed changes.
• Shopping for a customer if they cannot or assisted shopping.
• Preparing simple meals or help with preparation.
• Prompting for medication.
• Light gardening (watering plants or deadheading).
• Assisted walks & activities.
• Technical advice (help with the TV if it goes wrong!).
