Summary
1.Oversee the loading, unloading, inspection, cleaning, and segregation of scaffolding materials.
2.Plan and allocate resources to ensure materials are prepared and dispatched to site in line with project schedules.
3.Maintain stock control systems, ensuring accurate counts and minimising losses, theft, or misplacement.
4.Monitor quality of scaffolding materials and ensure damaged or defective items are identified, quarantined, and processed correctly.
5.Ensure yard layout and storage systems promote safety, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
6.Enforce compliance with HSEQ policies, industry regulations, and safe systems of work at all times.
7.Ensure staff use correct PPE and follow best practice in manual handling, lifting, and equipment use.
8.Previous experience as a Yard Foreman, Yard Supervisor, or similar role in scaffolding, construction, or hire industry.
9.Solid working knowledge of scaffolding materials and industry standards.
10.Forklift/telehandler experience/ certification essential
