Summary

Neway International are seeking a Housing Allocations Officer to join our client based with Runnymede Borough Council

37 hours/week
PAYE: £12.57/hr | Umbrella: £16.24/hr

Runnymede Borough Council is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Housing Allocations Officer to cover a secondment within the Housing Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in your community by helping residents access safe and suitable housing.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess housing register applications in line with the Council’s Allocations Scheme

Notify applicants of decisions and manage correspondence

Advertise available properties via the choice-based lettings scheme

Allocate and nominate applicants for accommodation

Accompany applicants on viewings and conduct home visits

Liaise with internal departments to verify applications

Draft clear and accessible written materials for public use

Provide housing advice and support as part of the wider Housing Solutions Team

Please note: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is essential.

About You:
You’ll be joining a supportive, forward-thinking team led by the Housing Allocations Team Leader. We’re looking for someone who is:
