Bath NHS House | 37 hours/week | Inside IR35 Start: 08/09/2025 | End: 08/12/2025 PAYE: £19.85/hr | Umbrella: £25.84/hr
Bath and North East Somerset Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Adults Services team for a 3-month agency placement. This is a vital role supporting older adults, particularly those living with dementia and complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse and complex caseload with confidence and compassion
Conduct advanced assessments and implement person-centred care plans
Apply robust risk management strategies while promoting independence
Work collaboratively with health professionals, families, and community partners
Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and ethical practice
✅ Essential Requirements:
SWE registered Social Worker with a recognised qualification (Diploma, BA/BSc/MA in Social Work)
Significant post-qualifying experience in adult social care
Proven ability to assess risk, prioritise needs, and navigate challenging situations
Strong interpersonal skills and intermediate IT literacy
Enhanced DBS & barred list check (Adult)
Right to work in the UK and full compliance documentation
