Summary
Kühne + Nagel (AG & Co.) KG
This role is to carry out Quality Inspection on serviceable and unserviceable Apache AH64-E equipment. To ensure that products are processed and handled correctly throughout thewarehouse environment utilising MHE, manual handling and the appropriate computer systems to achieve and fulfil customer requirements efficiently, accurately and safely
How you create impact
- Carry out Quality Inspection of equipment as required within Leonardo Delegated Inspection Authority
- Complete the daily MHE safety checks (where applicable)
- Carry out assigned tasks including picking, packing, goods receipt, checking, loading & unloading of vehicles, hygiene, van driving, MHE duties and the processing ofreturns
- Carry out assigned administrative tasks including but not limited to: allocation of orders and the booking in and out of stock
- Operate Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and carry out other assigned computer based tasks as required
- Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas
- Operate to trained work instructions e.g. ABC Modules/ WI
- Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy
- Comply with all Safe Working Practices including the reporting of all accidents and incidents within the workplace
- Comply and contribute to the KN standards within the working area
- Adopt and work in accordance with KN Principles and Behaviours
- Follow the escalation process where there is any deviation from the standard process
- Undertake any other duties that may be assigned
What we would like you to bring
- Good English language & communication skills (written & verbal)
- HNC in Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in aircraft engineering environment
- Experience of working to agreed targets
- Understanding of warehouse practises e.g. picking, loading
- IT literate
- Understanding of warehouse practises e.g. picking, loading
- Understanding of KPIs
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Reliable and committed to attending work on time
- Good Communication skills – written and verbal
- Accuracy & attention to detail
- Flexibility to task and hours
