Summary

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, committed and highly self-motivated individual to join our busy school as a SEND Assistant. A SENDCo assistant role provides crucial administrative support for a school's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department, working closely with the SENDCo to ensure the smooth running of processes related to student support and compliance with SEND regulations.

We would like a SEND Administrator who:
Has knowledge of SEND compliance and EHCP’s
Can administer assessments with children under the direction of the SENDCo
Can run specific SEND intervention sessions as and when required under the direction of the SENDCo
Can support staff by working alongside a child during part of the day to model or support elements of the EHCP
Has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
Excellent organisational skills
Has good IT skills
Has GCSE level or equivalent English & Maths (A-C)
