The Role
Are you highly organised with previous administration experience? Can you coordinate diaries, manage systems and keep processes running smoothly day after day? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
We are The Car Key People, a nationwide fleet-only auto-locksmith service trusted by some of the UK’s largest rental, utility and corporate fleets. We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our friendly team in Enfield.
You will play a key role in our operations desk—managing incoming jobs, scheduling technicians and ensuring clients are always updated. You will turn calls and emails into smooth, well-planned bookings that help national fleets keep moving.
This is a full time, office-based role, with free on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the bookings inbox and phone lines, creating accurate jobs with clear client communication.
• Schedule technicians daily, resolving clashes and reducing downtime.
• Liaise with clients, drivers, site contacts and mobile technicians to confirm all details.
• Prioritise urgent work, track progress, and provide timely updates until completion.
• Keep booking systems, spreadsheets and records up to date and accurate.
• Assist the operations team with improvements and customer service.
• Carry out day-to-day administrative tasks, including post and enquiries.
The Company
The Car Key People is a nationwide auto locksmith service with central operations located in Enfield, North London. The Car Key People assist the UK’s largest fleets with replacement vehicle keys, and act as a key part of their maintenance and repair strategy to ensure vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum.
The Person
• Previous experience in administration or scheduling (fleet, field service, trades or logistics an advantage).
• Confident, clear communicator by phone and email.
• Strong organisational skills and calm under pressure.
• Problem-solving approach with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable using Outlook, Excel/Google Sheets and new systems.
• Reliable, professional and a strong team player.
