Summary

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment continually looking to evolve?

Are you experienced in commercial environments, skilled at building stakeholder relationships, and able to gather supplier requirements and interpret financial information?

We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Supplier Manager with experience in supplier management to join our Digital Modernisation & Efficiency (DME) team. You’ll work across a dynamic stakeholder landscape, supporting supplier engagements and interpret financial data to support service transformation.

This is a fast-paced role at the heart of improving services for some of the most vulnerable people in society. If you're driven by purpose and thrive in evolving environments, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Supplier Manager, you’ll oversee end-to-end supplier management, from procurement to performance ensuring contracts meet business needs and deliver value.

You’ll work closely with Commercial Leads, manage financial tracking aligned to spend, and resolve queries with suppliers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to capture technical and non-technical requirements, supporting procurement while ensuring affordability and compliance with internal governance.
  • Own and manage cost models for your portfolio/category, ensuring financial tracking aligns with contractual spend. Address financial queries and liaise with suppliers and project leads as needed.
  • Support the Lead Supplier Manager in developing and delivering procurement plans and strategies, ensuring stakeholder needs are met, renewals are tracked, and value for money is achieved.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as an escalation point for unresolved issues.
  • Drive performance improvement strategies and proactively manage contract end dates to prompt renewal decisions.
