Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Lead Climber/Team Leader (LBS-008) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in leading climbing operations, demonstrating expert climbing techniques, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all team members during climbs. As a vital member of our crew, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating daily activities while adhering to industry safety standards. This role requires an individual who is not only an experienced climber but also possesses strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You will act as the main point of contact for team communications, facilitate training sessions for team members, and oversee the implementation of project goals. It is essential to demonstrate a high level of professionalism while building a positive team environment and fostering collaboration. Additionally, flexibility is key, as you may be required to travel to various site locations based on project demands. Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate climbing operations for various projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Train and mentor junior team members in climbing techniques and safety measures.
Develop and implement climbing strategies and plans to achieve project objectives.
Conduct risk assessments and safety audits before and during climbing operations.
Maintain equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition and safely utilized.
Communicate effectively with team members and project managers to report progress and concerns.
Promote a positive work culture that emphasizes teamwork, safety, and open communication.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in climbing and team leadership roles.
Certifications in climbing safety and rescue operations are preferred.
Strong knowledge of climbing techniques, gear, and equipment maintenance.
Ability to assess risks and implement safety measures effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate team members.
Physical fitness and stamina to undertake demanding climbing tasks.
Flexibility to travel to various climbing sites as required by project demands.

Experienced arborist climber and driver required
